The Knight Shop offer one of the best selections of mead for sale in the UK. Mead was produced throughout ancient history in Europe, Africa and Asia and is basically wine that is made from honey. It was especially prevalent in Nordic countries where grapes did not grow. Celtic, Saxon and Viking warriors all gathered in their lord’s mead hall to consume mead in large quantities whilst listening to tales of heroes and monsters and boasting of their own exploits!
