You have been asking for years – and we have finally answered!  This mead is a wild fermented (no yeast is added)  ‘hydromel’ (pure honey mead), using a mix of Wildflower and Polyfloral honeys.  This gives it a deep and complex flavour within the medium sweet range – suitable for drinkers of white wine and also for the purists among mead drinkers.

Can be served however you wish – chilled, over ice, room temperature or warm.

The second flavour to come from the mind of Mrs Mead. Born from a conversation about limoncello and other ‘sharp’ fruits.

It has pure Rhubarb concentrate added after the fermentation process. This gives it a nice rhubarb flavour with a slightly sharp edge. Suitable for those who like fruity drinks but still want to taste the mead or prefer their mead not quite so sweet.

Heimdall was the God who kept a constant eye out for any approaching danger to Asgard. He was able to do this and gain his title as one of the most powerful Gods due to his ability to see for hundreds of miles.

This flavoursome mead is made like Jarl’s, using Blossom honey and chilli flakes but has a lovely lime edge which cuts through the chilli.  This makes it suitable to most mead drinkers – even those who don’t love chilli!

The flavour is achieved by adding chilli flakes and lime concentrate after fermentation.

Can be served however you wish –chilled, over ice, room temperature or warm – even the Meadmeister reckons it will be good chilled!

This mead is a ‘Metheglin’ (herbed honey mead), using Blossom honey.

It has Bramling Cross hops added after the fermentation process. This gives it a light, hoppy flavour with a dark fruit edge. Suitable for those who like fruity drinks but still want to taste the mead.

This Chocolate Mead is Limited Edition and took 3 years to infuse the active ingredients of the Cacao bean. Using a mix of raw and lightly roasted Cacao nibs and left to infuse.

Cacao has been used for millennia by the Aztecs and Mayan people for it's health benefits, re-imagined in the 21st century as the Chocolate Ritual, we believe Chocolate Mead is a more social way to enjoy life.

This Limited Edition Sour Mead is an off-dry, Belgian beer style, brettanomyces wild ferment using Argentinean Wildflower honey.  With the addition of a little ascorbic acid (vitamin C), it takes you back to childhood and that real ‘sour’ blast which then transcends into a flavourful PURE mead at an off-dry level of sweetness.

The Limited Edition Sour Mead is a dark red/brown colour, sharp and sour on the first taste, followed by a complex meady flavour. Great for using in cocktails and will pair well with sweet desserts.

This mead is a ‘melomel’ (fruited honey mead), using blossom honey. It is also wild fermented (no yeast is added), but uses the yeast in the fruit.

It has fresh hedgerow berries (blueberry, blackcurrant and blackberry) added to the fermentation process.

The addition of berries gives it a smooth and deceptive, almost alcohol-free taste – despite its percentage!

The flavour has become a firm favourite with regulars and non-mead lovers alike and doesn’t stick around for long. Be careful of the ‘wobbly leg syndrome’ – you have been warned!

It has pure elderberry concentrate added after the fermentation process.

The addition of elderberries gives it a smooth deep flavour, taking the edge off the sweetness of the mead.

It enjoys to be warmed, can be mixed with anything fizzy or room temperature with something chocolatey.

Odin is the ‘Allfather’ in Norse mythology. He is the God of battle and also of wisdom, magic, and poetry.

His name means ‘fury’ or ‘frenzy’, the quality of fierce inspiration that guided warriors and poets alike.

A solid pewter bracelet that is based on silver ones from the Viking age. Chunky, yet highly detailed with Odin's raven head terminals at each end. Odin's ravens were called Hugin and Munin - Thought and Memory.

It weighs approx. 70g and has an internal length of approx. 18cm plus the gap between the heads, and is handmade in Scotland.

This mead is a traditional ‘Metheglin’ (herbed honey mead). The tannins give the mead a more ‘full bodied’ flavour, making it a firm favourite for drinkers who like oaked red wine, real ales or casked whiskey. We achieve this remarkable flavour simply by adding tea to the fermentation process. This gives the Mead a Whiskey-esque top palette.
